Wilson Student Group Collects Flags at Cemetery
Collecting American flags that decorated the graves of veterans at Holy Cross Cemetery on Sheboygan's Southside was the first public service undertaken by the Wilson Elementary School Above the Influence Club. Above the Influence focuses on working with young students to encourage service to others while helping prevent  students making negative choices about drugs and alcohol. Before the collection, Sexton Ken Ristow told the students about the 125 year history of the cemetery and the reason for the American flags on the graves of veterans.
