Jackson Students Earn Reward for Positive Behaviors
Jackson Elementary School students recently received a mid-winter reward day for their positive behaviors which are taught, monitored, and acknowledged as a part of the positive behavior or PBIS system. The students have met many of the recent monthly and quarterly goals for positive behaviors. Students were rewarded with a special assembly on Skateboarding Science. Professional skateboarders joined a scientist to show off their best stuff and explain the magic and science behind the art of skateboarding. Students also earned time to cuddle up and read with classmates, as well as attend booster sessions and skits by staff on behavior expectations for the playground, bathrooms and hallways.
