Cleveland Fifth Graders Enjoy Learning about the Civil War
Fifth graders from Cleveland Elementary School attended a Civil War Day at the Sheboygan Historical Museum. Students learned about what life was like as a soldier during this time period. Some of the areas that the students learned about included medical help on the battlefield, musical instruments, soldier's pastimes, taking care of their uniform and food for the soldiers. They also learned about life on the home front which involved the telegraph, a company's banner, photography, and what children did during the war.
