South High School Students Place at State FCCLA Competition
Congratulations to the South High students who participated in the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) state competition. Jairo Orozco and Sabrina Doxtator earned a Bronze Medal in the Life Event Planning category.  Kaitlyn Maevers earned a Silver Medal in the Pastry and Baked Goods event. Maggie Yang earned a silver medal and was the top competitor Early Childhood event, qualifying her for the National competition in Texas this summer.

FCCLA is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences Education. It is the only career and technical in-school student organization with the family as its central focus.
