Jackson Elementary Students Study the Wonders of the Wetlands
Jackson Elementary School 5th grader students have been studying the wonders of the wetlands. Recently they used metaphors to learn about functions of a wetland and used the scientific method as they experimented on how the wetland filters water. A fieldtrip to the Sheboygan Marsh allowed students an opportunity to learn how to canoe and to perform an experiment that tested whether the Marsh was a healthy wetland.
