James Madison Elementary School has recently been recognized by the Wisconsin RtI Center in behavior at the silver level for our work toward fully implementing a school-wide framework that, according to national research, leads to improved student outcomes.
By establishing this framework, we increase consistency of effective instruction, build staff knowledge and skills so they can support all learners, use data to proactively identify and provide support for students, and create a culture that supports stronger relationships with students and their families.
This builds a strong foundation, so students gain the skills needed to graduate high school ready for college or a career!
In total, 10 Sheboygan Area School District schools were recognized for their work and improved outcomes in the areas of reading, math, and behavior. See the full list here: https://goo.gl/NCTwA1
