TODAY'S EVENTS        

  • Final Exam Schedule: Period 7 - 8:00-9:30am, LOCKER CLEAN OUT - 9:30-9:50am, Period 0 - 9:55-11:25am. Studyhalls do NOT meet during final exams. Buses run on their normal schedule. Students are allowed QUIET study time in the Commons if they don’t have an exam, but are in the building waiting for other exams to begin.
  • Cruise Control Driving School - There are still a few openings for the two June 16th classes. The first class runs from 8:00am until 10:00am and the second class runs from 10:00am until noon. Please visit www.DriveCruiseControl.com for more details or to register for class!
  • Raiders Read: The North Library is offering summer check out. Raiders are invited to check out books during exam week or the during the posted summer dates. June 9, 10, 11 (8:00am - 3:00pm) July 1, 2 (Noon - 3:00pm) and August 5, 6, 7 (10:00am - 3:00pm). All books checked out this summer will be due the first day of school Tuesday, September 2. SPORTS

  • Attention Fall Athletes - in order to be eligible next fall you must pass all your semester classes. Fall Athletic Eligibility - using the semester final grades on a report card, a student who fails one or more courses will be ineligible for the beginning of fall sports.  A student may attempt to regain eligibility through equivalent courses provided in advance through Mr. Stengel.  The minimum ineligibility period shall be the lesser of (1) 21 consecutive calendar days beginning with the date of the earliest allowed competition in a sport or (2) one-third of the maximum number of games/meets allowed in a sport (rounded up if one-third results in a fraction). This information is found in the co-curricular handbook.

COUNSELING CENTER

  • Stop in the Counseling Center if you are interested in meeting with any of the following representatives coming up: no more representatives for this year. Check back in the Fall!
  • SUMMER JOBS - reminder for students to check the Job Board in the Counseling Center. Calls for some summer jobs are starting to come in!
  • Aviation will be offered again for next during 1st semester at South High during zero period.  If you are interested in taking this course please see your counselor as soon as possible.

  • Free Ice Cream! That's right. Free Ice Cream. The Sheboygan North student body has significantly reduced the number of second semester tardies and we hit our goal. The Free Ice Cream will be given out in the commons on Monday, June 9th right after 3rd hour final exams. Thank you to the students of North for taking responsibility and ownership of our learning environment.

  • Attention Sophomores: BLUE CREW selections will be posted outside the Student Office. Thank you to the 87 students who applied for the 40 positions. It's awesome to see so many strong applicants and hopefully if you are not selected for Blue Crew you will find another leadership role to be involved in at North!
  • ATTENTION ALL "NEW" AND CURRENT BLUE CREW MEMBERS! There will be a MANDATORY BLUE CREW meeting on MONDAY, June 9th at 1:45-2:15 in the Commons. PLEASE be ON TIME as there is important information you need about meetings/planning time for Freshmen Orientation 2014. If you are a Junior and will no longer be on Blue Crew PLEASE see T-Show and let her know asap. EVERY Blue Crew member MUST attend this meeting!
  • Auditions for the musical, Into the Woods, will be during the first week of school in September. Check with Mrs. Christopherson for information on musical selections. Anyone who attended the Drama Banquet, but did not receive a medal for participation in any of our productions, should stop in room 208 and pick it up.
  • Drama NYC travelers - See Mr. Johnson before you leave for the summer.

  • Booster Lunch Concessions - The last day for lunch concessions will be June 6th.
  • Attention students signed up to take AP US History next fall - Please stop in room 203 to pick up a packet of light summer reading that will help you prepare to be successful next fall. If you have any questions please see Mr. Kletzien.
  • Cruise Control Driving School - There are still a few openings for the two June 16th classes. The first class runs from 8:00am until 10:00am and the second class runs from 10:00am until noon. Please visit www.DriveCruiseControl.com for more details or to register for class!
  • Attention Sophomores: BLUE CREW selections will be posted outside the Student Office on FRIDAY of this week. Thank you to the 87 students who applied for the 40 positions. It's awesome to see so many strong applicants and hopefully if you are not selected for Blue Crew you will find another leadership role to be involved in at North!
  • ATTENTION ALL "NEW" AND CURRENT BLUE CREW MEMBERS! There will be a MANDATORY BLUE CREW meeting on MONDAY, June 9th at 1:45-2:15 in the Commons. PLEASE be ON TIME as there is important information you need about meetings/planning time for Freshmen Orientation 2014. If you are a Junior and will no longer be on Blue Crew PLEASE see T-Show and let her know asap. EVERY Blue Crew member MUST attend this meeting!
  • Auditions for the musical, Into the Woods, will be during the first week of school in September. Check with Mrs. Christopherson for information on musical selections. Anyone who attended the Drama Banquet, but did not receive a medal for participation in any of our productions, should stop in room 208 and pick it up.

TODAY'S EVENTS        

  • Senior Brat Fry: will be held on June 6th after graduation practice on Urban Field (North High track), bring your own food and we will supply the grill!
  • Hey Seniors, Sunday night from 8 P.M. to 1 A.M. the Lakeshore Sunrise Kiwanis is having their annual graduation party.  It is free to each senior and a guest.  It is held at Lakeshore Lanes in Sheboygan.  Prizes given away all night.  Come and check it out.  Questions, see Mrs. Muehlbauer in room 131.

  • It's the end of the year . . . Do you know where your stuff is? Eyeglasses, retainers, iPhone chargers, coats, water bottles - Don't abandon them to their fate. RESCUE THEM from the Lost and Found in the General Office . . . before it's too late!
  • Seniors – If you have money left in your lunch account that you no longer plan on using, please fill out a form in the general office for reimbursement. The list is posted in the window.

  • SENIORS: Any seniors who who won less than $5,000 at North's Scholarship Night on May 21st and would like their senior picture returned to them should stop in the Counseling Center to see Mrs. Bitney.
  • SENIORS: Be sure to inform Mrs. Bitney in the Counseling Center if you need a final transcript sent to your college.  If you did not complete a senior survey or if you're not sure if you completed a senior survey, stop and see Mrs. Bitney ASAP!!
