The Drawing/Painting II Art students from Sheboygan North High School were inspired by the bakery they saw at Johnston Bakery. In response to their observations, the students were challenged to produce a painting that would express the same effect a person would have as a consumer. Six paintings that are 18"x24" acrylic on panel are based on their observations and design aesthetics.
The students' works are now on view at Johnston Bakery, which is located at 1227 Superior Avenue in Sheboygan. The students are Sarah Baughman, Soua Hang, Minah Lee, Steffany Reyna, Emily Rudolph, and Brianna Wagner.
Johnston Bakery's hours are Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturdays from 5:00 am to 2:00 pm.
