    Sheboygan Public Education Foundation Awards Grants to Local Schools
    The Sheboygan Public Education Foundation, a 501(C) 3 non-profit that raises funds for the benefit of Sheboygan public schools, recently approved the funding of 28 grants totally over $34,000 to our Sheboygan public schools. Grants were requested for curriculum, technology and humanitarian support. To date, the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation has provided more than $475,000 in grants to the Sheboygan community and to Sheboygan public schools.

    Projects supported during the fall grant cycle include:

    • Cooper Elementary - Funding for Tier 2 & Tier 3 Intervention Reading Program, SMARTBoard Technology  
    • Early Learning Center – Classroom Carpet for the 4K/ELL program
    • Farnsworth Middle School – SMARTBoard Technology for 8th Grade
    • Horace Mann Middle School  - iPads for Special Education
    • Jefferson Elementary - 2nd Grade “The Quirkles” Science Program, Kindergarten Milk, iPods for 3rd Grade
    • Longfellow Elementary – Music Room Instruments, Kindergarten Milk and iPods for 3rd grade
    • James Madison Elementary – SMARTBoard Technology, iPods
    • Lincoln Erdman Elementary – iPads for 1st Graders
    • North High School -  SMARTBoard Technology & Projection Equipment for Spanish Classes, Hand Held LabQuest Devices and Probes for Science Classes, LCD Projector for Music Program
    • Pigeon River Elementary – 3rd Grade 21st Century Reading & Writing Skills
    • Urban Middle School – Anti Bullying Literature, EGGSPERT Answer System, Books for Urban Book Club,  Projection Equipment for 6th and 8th Grade 
    • Washington Elementary – Orff Instruments for Music Classes
    • Wilson Elementary - Orff Instruments for Music Classes, Band & Orchestra Instrument Purchase & Repair, Projection Equipment for 4th Grade, Funding for Tier 2 & Tier 3 Intervention Reading Program
