Cheerleading

The Sheboygan North High Cheer team's primary goal is to serve as a support group for a variety of interscholastic athletic teams, including football and both boys' and girls' basketball. our cheerleaders always strive to imporve student morale and boost school spirit at North.

The team consists of about 10 girls at the JV level and 20 girls at the varsity level.  Boys are welcome to join the team however at the moment, we have all female athletes.  When trying out for the Cheer and Stunt team, an athlete has the choice to cheer for football season, basketball season, or both.  During the winter the team also competes at various competitions around around the state of Wisconsin.

This year, we placed 2nd at the Green Bay cheer Classic, 2nd at the WACPC Northern Regional Competition, and 6th at the State Cheer Championship!

During the summer, there are options to attend open gyms and cheerleading camps with the team to imporve on familiar skills or to learn new skills.  The cheer team is committed to suporting North from May until March with new team practices continuing into the summer.  Team members are chosen through a tryout process held in the spring.
