ATOD Programs for Staff

Life Skills Training Facilitators:  Middle School and High School Life Skills Training Facilitators attend regularly scheduled in-services throughout the school year.  These in-services provide the facilitators with professional development and support in implementing the program.  This ensures that the program is being implemented consistently and with fidelity district-wide.

Above the Influence Advisors:  Above the Influence Advisers attend monthly in-services throughout the school year.  These in-services allow advisers the opportunity to collaborate and plan service activities for their Above the Influence Groups as well as increase their knowledge base about alcohol and other drugs.

Second Step Facilitators:  Elementary school counselors that are responsible for teaching the Second Step lessons attend monthly in-services throughout the school year.  These in-services allow the school counselors to collaborate and increase their knowledge base about alcohol and other drugs.  A scope and sequence for the teaching of Second Step lessons has been developed so that the school counselors are teaching the same lessons at the same time district-wide.
