The Sheboygan Public Education Foundation (SPEF) raises funds to enhance opportunities for students in the Sheboygan Area School District. A variety of fundraisers are held as well as an annual donation campaign. To make a donation or learn more about the Education Foundation, visit their website.
Community Recreation Department
The Community Recreation Department is part of the Sheboygan Area School District (SASD). The recreation department provides athlethic and recreational programs for all ages. They publish a program catalog three times per year. This catalog is available online and is also distributed by mail to SASD residents and/or handed out through public and private schools.
SASD residents are welcome to use the fitness centers and gym/indoor walking tracks at North and South High School. There are set hours in which these facilities are open to the public. Hours are printed in each program catalog and are available online.
School facility rental and reservations are handled by the Community Recreation Department.
Benefits for our Senior Community (Age 55 or better)
Senior Citizen Lifetime Passes. Passes are available at the Sheboygan Area School District central office, 830 Virginia Avenue. Passes are good for free admission to most SASD events or activities.
Hot Winter's Night. Hot Winter's Night is an evening showcase of musical talent presented by high school choir and band students. The evening is complete with complimentary coffee and desserts. This annual event is held in the North or South High School Commons on the first Wednesday in February. Tickets are available in early January by calling 459-3500.
