Sheridan Students Complete ‘Babysitting & Beyond' Class

Twelve Sheridan Elementary School 5th graders completed Aurora Health Care's Babysitting and Beyond Class. Their successful completion means each student received the American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid and CPR Completion and a Babysitting and Beyond Certificate.

The students learned the basics of babysitting though hands on experiences and fun activities focusing on the different ages and stages of children, safety/emergencies and the American Heart Association CPR and First Aid.

The instructor of the class was Nicole Hendrikse, RN, BSN. This class was offered as part of the Sheridan School's After School Program Coordinator, Blanca Infantino Wick.
