Sheridan Students Donate Generously for Annual Food Drive
Each year, the Student Council at Sheridan Elementary School conducts a food drive for families in our community. This year, students donated a record 1,796 items during the first week of November. The school normally collects approximately 1,300 items. Students brought in canned fruits and vegetables, soups, cereal, peanut butter, and other food items. The food collected was divided into 17 baskets that are going to be given to families in Sheboygan. Eight of the families will also receive a twenty-dollar gift certificate donated by the Student Council. Extra food items will be donated to the local food pantry.
