Attention all Students: This past Saturday, the forensics team was in Waupaca for our latest tournament. As a team, South placed 4th out of the 28 teams in attendance. Finalists from South were Devin Haas in Solo Serious Acting, Amanda Hoffman in Farrago, Anna Macknick in Radio Announcing, Hollis Rammer in 4 Minute Speaking and Extemporaneous Speaking, Ivalu Siegstad in Special Occasion Speaking, and Colton Wickland in Radio Announcing. Samantha Zabel, Holly Reinl, Alexis Pautz, and Lacey Nufer placed 3rd in Group Interpretation. 2nd place finishers were Anna Macknick in Radio Announcing and Amanda Hoffman in Solo Humorous Acting. Tournament champions from South were Alex Kerr in Moments in History and Alexis Pautz in Farrago. Congratulations to all of the forensics students.

Attention all Students: GSA  will be sending out an email to everyone later today showing our Day of Silence tshirt for this year. We hope that you will purchase one to wear on the annual Day of Silence (April 17th). By wearing this tshirt you show your support for all kids to feel safe and accepted at school. Orders for the tshirt will need to be made in the activities office (with your $10) by THIS FRIDAY. A picture of the shirt will be down at the activities office as well.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: Interested in a career in cosmetology: The Paul Mitchell School in Green Bay is having a Preview Day for perspective students on Thursday, April 9. There will be tours, a mini texture class, a wash house experience, as well as a Q & A session and reception. You must register by March 31st. See Mr. Heling in the Counseling Center for registration information.

Attention all Students: There's a tournament brewing here at South High scheduled for next week Thursday the 26th. 3 on 3 basketball and volleyball tournaments are being set up for the Redwing Way All-School fun day. If you wish to gain bragging rights over your friends, you must sign up outside the office by the end of the day today..

Attention Greece Travelers: Our next monthly meeting is Monday, March 23rd at 6pm in the library. Please attend and be ready to talk about upcoming fundraising opportunities. See you then. Ms. Gabrielse and Mr. Schrank.

Attention Seniors: Do not forget that the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation scholarships have Monday, March 23rd as a deadline. Make sure you use this last weekend to get these done!


Attention all Students: The Sheboygan South Jazz Program is pleased to announce their 9th annual semi-formal big band dance! A dance featuring live music by the jazz ensembles of Sheboygan South and the pro group ‘Lighthouse Big Band’ is set up as a community dance for people of all ages. Not sure how to dance? Come and practice (for free, with the purchase of a dance ticket) in a fun setting on Thursday, April 9th and Friday, April 10th 7-8:30 p.m. in the SHS Commons. The dance is Saturday, April 11th from 7-11:00 p.m. in our Sheboygan South Commons. Advance tickets are $10 for students. Tickets can be purchased from any Jazz Student, from the South High School’s Offices or DuBois Formalwear.

Attention all Students: Anyone interested in entering a design for this year's GSA Day of SIlence must get their design to either Mrs. Smith or Abbie W or Maddie B by this Thursday morning (March 19th). Starting next week, students will be able to put in orders for a GSA Day of Silence t-shirt. Information on how to get a shirt will be on announcements at the beginning of next week. You do not need to be a member of GSA to get a shirt-- you just have to want to show that you believe your school should be a safe place for everyone!

Attention all Students:
If you are interested in taking an AP EXAM this year, you will have ensure you have done the following to have an exam order for you. All interested examinees will need to register by paying $91.00 per test to the Activities Office by Friday March 27th, the last day before Spring Break! If you qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch or are currently experience a financial Hardship, please see Mr. Formolo as you may qualify for a Fee Waiver, Fee Reduction or Payment Plan. If you need more information on the AP Exam Process, please visit the main office and information can be provided to you.

Attention all Seniors: Here is the information about the upcoming senior grad party. The Sheboygan Noon Lions club (Hosting Event) is looking for student input on events and prizes. We have a club meeting March 24th from 12PM-1Pm at Lakeshore Lanes and would like to extend an invitation for senior student council or senior students (s) that would like to be involved with the planning of the event. Lunch will be provided for students and advisors that attend. See Mr. Trimberger if you are interested
