Attention All Students: Thank you for turning in the class officer nomination papers. We will have an election in your senior homerooms for Senior Class President between Sophia Ly and Colton Wickland. Your ballots will be in your homerooms on Thursday. For the Juniors and Sophomores , we are still looking for students to fill 5 positions. We are opening the nomination process for these positions until Wednesday at 2:30 pm.

Attention All Female Students: Ladies, don’t forget to sign up for Powder Puff outside Mr. Schrank’s door, 225. Also, this Wednesday is the last day to sign-up and pay for your Powder Puff t-shirt in Activities. It has to be by Wednesday at 3:30 to get the numbers to the printer.

Attention All Students: A special invitation for any student, parent or staff member. Do you have a desire to travel to Australia this coming summer? If so, you have the opportunity to travel with Ms. Gabrielse. Come to room 235 if you want any information. It is a unique opportunity that you don't want to pass up.

Attention All Students:
What do Zeus, Aphrodite, and the Parthenon all have in common? Mr. Schrank and Ms. Gabrielse will be taking 43 people to Greece in the summer of 2016 to see these places and temples and so much more. Do you want to come? Look for information regarding an information night coming in October. Spread the word, tell your parents, tell your friends, tell your family, that you want to go on this amazing trip. Stay tuned for more information or come to room 235 or 225 if you just can't wait.

Attention All Seniors:
This Tuesday in homeroom you will be viewing a short video from the Counseling Center regarding post-secondary planning which includes information on how to apply to technical school, private universities, as well as UW colleges.

Attention All Students: If you will be applying to UW schools, we will be having a UW application seminar that will cover the "how to" and the "what to include" in your application. This seminar will be presented by UW staff, and be held twice on Tuesday, September 30th in the South High Library. Come to the Counseling Center to sign up for the 5th OR 6th hour seminar. You MUST preregister to attend as space is limited!

Attention All Students: The Sheboygan Area Youth Apprenticeship Program has an exciting event for current and prospective Youth Apprenticeship students in the Healthcare Program area! Lakeshore Technical College will host a Health Career Discovery Night for current and prospective YA students! This is a great opportunity for those who are interested in the healthcare field. The Dean of Health Sciences will present about health careers and programs available at LTC. Students will also have the opportunity tour the skills lab, practice some hands-on skills, and hear from a former YA student currently attending LTC for nursing. The event will take place on Monday, October 13. See Mrs. De Pagter or Mr. Heling in the Counseling Center for more information!

Attention All Students: Learn what it takes to make it in the challenging field of fire and emergency services! Fire Service Exploring offers young men and women ages 15 - 20 the chance to experience fire and emergency service career opportunities. To learn more, come to an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 1 at 6:00 pm at the Town of Wilson Black River Fire Department. See Mr. Heling in the Counseling Center for more details!

Attention All Students: The Sheboygan Rotary will be hosting a two-day Camp Enterprise conference on Thursday and Friday, October 16 & 17 at Camp Y-Koda. Special again this year is a half-day workshop presented by Chuck Zamora who will share key concepts form his successful program, "The Tools of Life". The objective is to empower students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world. Please consider nominating and e-mailing me back names of sophomores or juniors to participate! The students being sought are not those who already are active leaders, but those who have the POTENTIAL to become leaders and could use tools and techniques this conference provides them to grow into leadership roles! Please nominate any sophomore or junior by Thursday, September 18th.

Attention All Students: There are no balloons allowed in the school. Unfortunately we have a few students that are allergic to the latex in balloons.

Students Attending the North/South Varsity Soccer Game:
Tonight will be a BLACK out to support our boys on the field. Make sure you are there at 6:30 pm to show your Redwing pride as they face the North High Raiders.

Attention All Students: Wilson Elementary School is still looking for more volunteers to help out at their Fall Fest. This event is next week Friday Sept 26th and runs 4-8. Yes, that is the night of the Homecoming game. BUT, if you want, you can volunteer from 4-6:45. It is very convenient because it is practically next door! Sign up on Sra. Smith's door (room 274) and bring your sheet to be signed if you want volunteer hours.

Attention All Students: After you attend the Wisconsin Education Fair on Tuesday, September 23 at Lakeland College, consider attending the National College Fair in Milwaukee at the Wisconsin Center from noon until 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 28th. While there, you can talk to national college representatives as well as attend workshops on a variety of topics such as financial aid. Register today at www.gotomyncf.com. Attention Math Team Members:
There will be a brief meeting after school on Friday, September 19th at 3:20 pm in room 230. We will be ordering T-shirts based on attendance, so if you cannot make the meeting, please see Mrs. Juckem in room 230 to let her know what size you would like ordered. The first math meet is on October 6th in Ripon.
