March 15th

Have you heard??  The South High Spring play, Rumors, will be presented in the South High Auditorium, March 18, 19, 20 and 21. RUMORS is the story of four couples trying to figure out a mystery at their best friend’s house. It is a fast paced farce with big laughs! Performances are at 7:00 Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 5:00 Sunday. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students, $1 for children. SASD passes are accepted for FREE admission. This play contains mature themes and adult language. It may not be appropriate for all ages. Support arts education at your school! See you there!”

Attention Arts SCREAM MEMBERS:  It’s time to get your T-shirt order in. if you missed the last meeting, stop by Room 263 to find out the specifics. The T-shirt order will be placed next Thursday.

Attention Anyone Interested in an Engineering Summer Program:  The University of Wisconsin-Madison, College of Engineering Diversity Affairs Office will be hosting its annual Engineering Sumer Program for high school students from June 20 to July 30. This is an exciting and rigorous six-week program for high school students.  If you are interested please see Mrs. De Pagter or Mrs. Weier in the counseling center.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors:  Are you looking for a good paying job? Are you interested in the banking or finance area of business? If you have answered yes to each of these questions, then you need to see Mr. Williams in Room 261. Kohler Credit Union is seeking applicants to work at the in-school branch for the 2010 – 2011 school year. You must have transportation, you must be able to work during the school day, and you must be enrolled in a business class. For more information, see Mr. Williams in Room 261 before March 19.

Attention SASA Volunteers:  We are still in needed of volunteers to help with events at Cleveland Elementary School and Horace Mann Middle School.  See Mrs. Goodman in Room 134 for a list of dates or to sign up as a volunteer.

It's Time for Another Trivia Question from SASA:   How long can the effects of marijuana last? Answers can be submitted until March 25 to the Trivia Contest box in the Counseling Center or to Mrs. Goodman in Room 134. Students that answer this month's trivia question correctly will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a $10 Starbucks gift card.

March 16th

Join World Language Students for Movie Night: Please join the World Languages Club for movie night this Thursday, March 18th, from 4-6pm. We will be watching the French film "L’enfant." All are welcome (Yes, there are English subtitles). We will be in Room 270 to watch the film and eat French food. Hope to see you then! (3-16, 3-17)

Attention All AP Students:  AP students please remember that the deadline to sign up for AP tests is Friday March 19th. Please make sure you are registering in the Aactivities Office as soon as possible! (3-16, 3-17)
