The boys and girls varsity bowling teams advanced to state in Wausua, WI on March 2.
Individual winners to Alex Feudner, Nathan Theune, and Kayleigh Bitters advanced to state singles to be held on March 1.
In swimming, Seniors McKena Ramos, Brian White, Aaron Stenz, and Luke Hetue of the 200 free relay team advanced to the state swimming meet, being seeded tenth.
In addition, Ramos advanced to state in the 200 free where he is seeded 15th and in the 100 fly where he is seeded 16th.
South’s 400 free relay team is also seeded 16th.
At the regional wrestling meet, South wrestler Jake Malwitz took home a first place medal while Skyler Kroenig and Steve Rodriquez both placed third. All three wrestlers advanced to the sectional meet. Results were not available as of press deadline.
In hockey, the Red Raiders finished their season with a winning record and with a final 4-3 win over Kenosha on Feb. 9.
Senior Derek D’Amico scored the game-winning goal.
The Red Raiders won the day before, 8-3, over non-conferencee Fox Cities team.

The girls gymnastics team placed thrid recently at the nine-team Whitefish Bay Invite on Feb. 9.
Calie Kaiser tied for first on the beam, while Caitlin Jurk took a third place finish in all-around.
Jenna Schaefer finished seventh in all-around and fourth on the beam.
The boys and girls junior varsity and varsity basketball teams lost their North-South games on Feb. 2.
Girls varsity basketball player Briana Wojcik said, “Despite the loss this year, I know the whole team is excited to work hard and build off our mistakes so that next season we can pull off the wins.”
