South High Jake Risse holds the plaque he received
after his house design was chosen for next school
For the past twelve years, Sheboygan North and Sheboygan South High students have been given the opportunity to design the new house that will be built the following school year. This spring 30 different designs were submitted. Four of the thirty students designs made the final cut. Those students are Jake Risse, Grant Evans, Andy Fox from South and Brandon Moenning from North.
House Project Committee members selected Risse's house design as the house that will be built next school year. The house, which will be built on Tara Lane, is the twelfth house that
North and South High students will build. It will go on the market next school year. Groundbreaking ceremonies are scheduled for the second week in September.
Evans, Fox and Moenning each received $100 from the Kiwanis Club for their runner up designs. Risse was given $200 for his winning design.
