    South High Culinary Arts Students Earn High Marks at Bake Off
    Three South High School culinary arts students earned all 3 prizes at the 1st annual Hyper Tails Agility Club's Food Fight Bake Off held on Saturday, February 11th, 2012.

    Earning first place in the Cake category was Allison Edwards with her carrot cake. First place in the Cookie/Bar category was won by Dalton Burke with his root beer float cookies.
    The People’s Choice award for most popular vote went to Samantha Doxtator for her almond brownies.

    Also competing from South High School were Carissa Neese, Sabrina Doxtator, Brianna Lindsay, Adriana Vargas and Paige Soerens.

    Students competed as part of the ProStart Culinary Arts Program taught at South High School, which prepares students for post secondary work and teaches 21st century work skills, preparing high school students for future employment.
