Six South High School culinary arts students have earned the national ServSafe certification. This safety and sanitation based certification is a difficult accomplishment, which few students achieve. Training for this certification takes place in the National Restaurant Association's ProStart Culinary Arts Program at South taught by Betty Price. One person in every Wisconsin restaurant must be ServSafe certified by law.
