New Administrators Hired in the Sheboygan Area School District
The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) is pleased to announce that Ted DiStefano was hired as the new Principal of Urban Middle School. Mr. DiStefano comes to the SASD from Marshfield School District where he served as an Elementary Principal. He also has served as the District Technology Coordinator of the Greendale School District. Superintendent Dr. Joseph Sheehan said, “Mr. DiStefano is an outstanding educational leader who is excited to work with the quality students, staff and parents at Urban Middle School.” Mr. DiStefano is replacing Sue Nennig, who accepted a Coordinator of Instruction position in Neenah.
The Sheboygan Area School District is also pleased to announce that Chris Hein has accepted the position of Activities Director at South High School. Mr. Hein has been a social studies teacher at South High for the past 11 years and has also served as the head football coach. “He has been a strong presence in the athletic department for many years and has helped shape the vision and mission of Redwing athletics,” said Jason Ledermann. Mr. Hein is replacing Mr. Ledermann, who accepted the position of Associate Principal at South High earlier this month. South High Principal Mike Trimberger said, “A move like this leaves a hole where a great teacher has left. Fortunately, we have other instructional leaders that will fill this gap. Chris's move will now allow him to have a greater impact on a larger number of students. That is good news for our kids and our community.”
