South High Students Earn National ServSafe Certification
Congratulations to Carissa Neese and Hayley Lutzky who have completed the National Certification of ServSafe Manager training and successfully passed the certifying exam. This is taught and administered at South High School as part of the ProStart Culinary Arts Program, under the direction of Instructor Betty Price. They also have earned the Wisconsin Food Manager License. Both of these certificates are valid for five years. In the state of Wisconsin, one employee in every restaurant must be ServSafe certified for a restaurant to be in safety and sanitation compliance with the Health Department Food Code.
