South High School's Student Council is an organization where students volunteer and donate their time to the council. Any interested student may join Student Council. Each member is required to participate in Council-sponsored school and community activities for a designated number of hours.
Each year Student Council plans and runs chocolate sales, pep rallies, Homecoming, blood drives, food drives, North/South game posters, the Birthday Board, and car washes, along with raising monies for a variety of charitable organizations.
Not only does Student Council look great on a college application, it’s really fun, too!
