The use of radios, CD/MP3/tape players, games, is not allowed during the school day. Please leave these items at home. The school is not responsible for the loss or theft of these or other valuable items.

Possession of a pager at school or school related activities is prohibited by Board Policy. (5144.1(a)). Students in possession of a pager or two-way communication device, may be subject to the following measures:

CELL PHONES

Cell phones are authorized according to school board policy. However, a parent must request per mission and complete a cell phone permission form. Cell phones are not allowed before, during, or after school unless you have special permission from administration. If special permission is granted, cell phones cannot be loaned out to other students. Cell phones are to be kept in student lockers and turned off between 7:30 a.m. to 2:47 p.m. If a student is caught using a cell phone during the school day, the phone will be confiscated and brought to the main office. A discipline referral will also be written for the student using the phone, and a parent/guardian will be expected to pick the phone up at school. (Permission forms are available in the Urban office.)
