GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING
Urban Middle School takes pride in its counseling and guidance program. Services offered include individual counseling, educational, academic, career and group counseling and guidance. Counseling can be on a one time basis or on-going. In addition, the counselor can assist in referral to outside agencies. Students wishing to see a counselor should use the sign up sheet in the guidance office. Parents should feel free to call for appointments (459-3680) if they have any questions regarding their child.
The guidance office will handle any problems students have concerning their schedules. Ms. Stauss will be the guidance counselor for all of grade six and will have the students in grade seven with the last names beginning with M-Z. Ms. Andreen will be the counselor for all of grade eight and will have students in grade seven with the last names beginning with A-L.

URBAN'S SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER (SRO)
Officer Patrick Leichtnam of the Sheboygan Police Department has been assigned as our School Resource Officer. The SRO is available to meet with students and address concerns they might have about the law or help them with a problem. The SRO does not administer consequences for school rules, but does enforce Sheboygan City Ordinances and state laws.
