Urban Middle School Places Ninth in Pack'er Up Drive

During the month of April, Wisconsin schools had the opportunity to participate in the Green Bay Packer challenge - Pack'er Up Drive. Parents and students were asked to donate clothing and household items to Goodwill. Parents could bring items directly to Goodwill or students could bring them in to school.

Urban Middle School 8th graders from Team 8-3 collected all items brought to school, counted them, and brought them to Goodwill. Urban Middle School collected a total of 15,110 items during the month of April. The efforts resulted in Urban earning a 9th place finish in the challenge.

Woodfield, a school in Waterford, WI, earned first place with 34,794 items donated. As a result, Woodfield had a visit from Green Bay Packer Donald Driver, was given 12 autographed copies of Donald Driver's children's book – Quickie Handles a Loss, and an authentic autographed Packer helmet, signed by Donald Driver.

The schools that came in second and third place each received 12 autographed copies of Donald Driver's children's book, Quickie Handles a Loss.
