Urban Student Council received 1st Place Blue Ribbons in 5 categories at the WASC State Leadership Conference in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The categories were banner, scrap book, speech, writing and button. Congratulations to the students who attended this conference of 1300 student council members.

**Weekly meetings Friday mornings from 7:00-7:40am in the gym.**
The Council received an award from the Morningside Nursing home for all the help that it does and for putting together a Beanie Baby collection for the holidays. The elderly really enjoyed all the gifts that were given to them.
