Back to School Night
Back to School Night is an Open House at the end of August when students come to school with their families between 4:30-5:30 p.m. It's a time to find their classroom, meet their teacher, drop-off school supplies, & meet classmates. It is also an opportunity for parents to sign-up for the fall parent-teacher conferences.

Brat Fry
A back-to-school event sponsored by PTO where families get together to enjoy supper and socialize with staff, friends, and new faces. A great way to start out the new school year!

Breakfast and Books
Washington usually does 2 or 3 Breakfast & Books each school year. Students bring their families to the gym for a free Continental Breakfast & a free book. Each student chooses a book for the parent to read to the student while the family enjoys their breakfast. The student gets to take the book home to keep.

Fun Fair
An all school fun-filled night of games, prizes and a cake walk put together by the PTO and the Boys and Girls Club. Don't miss the excitement!

Georgie's Great Day
A special day each year, where students take part in exciting educational workshops ranging from bird house building and introduction to athletic training to ice skating and candle making. Students choose which workshops they would like to attend. This unique program is the highlight of the school year for many students, staff, and volunteers.

Fifth Grade Recognition
Fifth Grade Recognition honors our fifth grade students & their parents. Details are always provided to the families in spring.

Holiday Dinner
Washington's Holiday Dinner is halfway between Thanksgiving & Christmas. Students & their families enjoy a warm meal with staff. Then everyone moves on to an evening of games & family pictures.
Snowball Dance
A PTO event that brings winter indoors. Our winter wonderland gives students and their families a chance to dance to a DJ, eat pizza, win a door prize, and enjoy friends. Take the chill away and show your school spirit!
