Helping Hands
Parents of Wilson School volunteer their time once a week or once every other week to do small projects for the teachers, such as copies, projects to be cut out, pencils to be sharpened, shapes or letters to be cut for classrooms, or many other things. By doing these small projects for the teachers it allows them to spend more time with the students. It is also a nice time for parents to meet other parents of Wilson School.

Lunch Buddies
Lunch Buddies are adults from the community who are matched with a student at our school. They get together, on a weekly basis during the school year, during a lunch period to form a relationship based on the needs of the child.

Parent Room Coordinators
Wilson parents are welcome to volunteer in the classroom to help out with special activities such as journal writing or computer lab time. Parents who have volunteered their time in this way have really enjoyed being involved in their child's education and getting to know the teacher and classmates better.
