Farnsworth Construction Updates
Wondering what is happening at Farnsworth Middle School? Here's an overview of the construction underway.
Safety during construction is a top priority for the Sheboygan Area School District, Farnsworth Middle School, and every worker on site. Because construction is taking place while students and staff are in the building, additional safety measures are in place to help ensure students can learn in a safe and secure environment each day.
Construction crews receive student safety reminders at the start of every workday. Temporary walls block access to construction areas, and safety fencing surrounds the perimeter of the work sites.

Over the summer, work began on the south side of the Farnsworth campus to prepare the site for the new construction. The team installed underground storm drainage systems and connected most utilities.
On the west side of the building, the team built the masonry for the tall, single-story choir, band, and orchestra area.
On the east side of the building, the masonry was built for part of the main entrance.
