Career and Technical Education

The Career and Technical Education department is comprised of the following disciplines:

Career & Technical Education focuses on exploration of the self in relation to the world of careers and productive citizenship. Project based, applied learning is at the core of Career & Technical Education instruction. It prepares students for life long learning, as they transition to adult apprenticeship programs, military service, technical college programs, four year college programs or on the job training for immediate workforce entry.

Numerous area business representatives partner with the Career & Technical Education Department through membership on more than ten different occupationally based advisory committees. Business representatives lend their expertise and other resources to continually improve curriculum and lab facilities.
