My name is Kate Juckem and I am a mathematics teacher at North High School. I graduated from UW-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education-Mathematics, and I moved to Hawaii where I taught for six years at Highlands Intermediate School in Pearl City, Hawaii. I received my master’s degree in Educational Technology from the University of Hawaii-Manoa. I moved to Sheboygan in 2001 and taught mathematics at South High School until 2015, when I transferred to North High School. I believe that mathematics is a challenge, that when approached with the correct attitude, can open up doors to success. I want to give all students the opportunity to feel this success. I strongly believe that all students can learn mathematics and it is my job to make the material understandable and give all students the chance to thrive inside the mathematics classroom. I am very happy to be a part of the North High School family. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. |
