Hello my name is Janell Davis and I am the GED02 teacher and At-Risk Specialist here at Sheboygan North High School. I started my career in education in 1992 as an Interpreter for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. I worked as an Interpreter for 13 years. As an Interpreter I worked in the Hustsford, Oshkosh and Madison school districts. In 2002 I started attending Carroll University and double majored in History and Secondary Education. I graduated in December 2005 and started working for the Sheboygan Area School District in 2006 at Riverview Academy as their Social Studies Teacher. In 2010 I earned my Alternative Education Licensure from Concordia University. In 2012 I earned my Masters in Educational Leadership from Marian University.

In 2010 I was transferred to North High School to run the GED02 Program. While here at North I have been able to help many seniors graduate on time through the GED02 Program. I started the Raider Learning Center (RLC) which offers credit recovery opportunities for all of the students at North. Two years ago, I started the night school option for credit recovery at North.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting and traveling to new destinations to learn the local history. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends in the area.
