Welcome New Families

We're excited that you are considering enrolling your child(ren) in our schools! The Sheboygan Area School District is the largest school district in Sheboygan County ,with 25 schools serving nearly 10,000 students in 4-year-old kindergarten through 12th grade.

One of the strengths of the Sheboygan Area School District is the variety of opportunities and choices it offers to families, allowing them to tailor an education path that fits their child’s needs and goals. You will find that all our schools offer a comprehensive education built on innovation, strong communication, and whole-student well-being.

When new families move into the Sheboygan Area School District, we ask that you enroll your students as soon as possible. Prompt enrollment enables us to schedule buses properly, assign teachers, and provide any other necessary services.
Families enrolling in the Sheboygan Area School District for the first time should contact their neighborhood school for assistance with registration. Parents or guardians with questions about registering their child(ren) or school boundaries may call the Central Office Census Department at (920) 459-3781 for assistance.

What do I need for enrollment and registration?

The parent/guardian should be prepared to complete an online application containing demographic information, emergency contact phone numbers, name and phone number of your student’s doctor/dentist, medical information, and language information. After your student’s online application has been submitted, you may be asked to provide a birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency to your student’s school.
