SPECIAL BULLETIN

The following vacancy exists in the Sheboygan Area School District. All interested persons shall make written application to the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resourcesby 4:00 p.m. on April 14, 2014.                                                   HEARING DISABILITIES TEACHER
                                                                 DISTRICT-WIDE

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be a Wisconsin DPI certified hearing disabilities teacher (805).
2. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate using sign language.
3. Must be willing to learn the C-Print® System.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess excellent communications skills with all staff members including parents, interpreters, teachers, audiologist, etc. Possess the ability to work with various learning styles. Relate to a wide variety of individuals. Possess and support the concept of inclusion and a focus on the future needs of hearing impaired students in a hearing community. Utilize the C-Print® System with students and support the staff using the system. Have an understanding and knowledge of the IEP process. Must be able to work as a team player with teachers, support staff, administration, and parents.
