I am a Sheboygan native and a North High alumna. After I graduated, I lived in inner city Cleveland, Ohio, rural South Carolina, metro New York City, and the Rockies of Montana. I survived Hurricane Floyd, walked across the George Washington Bridge, and climbed to the summit of Sacajawea Peak. I’ve founded and coached fencing clubs in two states (I prefer epee to foil), been a university professor (English, philosophy, music), the business manager of a newspaper, and even had a brief stint as a urine bag assembler (kinda fun, actually). This means I know a lot of weird stuff, which is useful in my job in the Help Desk, because technology is often just plain weird. Some of my pets are weird, too. I have Madagascar hissing cockroaches, chickens, and parrots in addition to the more usual cat and dog. My motto is “Do at least one thing every day to make the world a better place.”
