New Child Care Options Offered at ELC

The Sheboygan Area School District is excited to announce new on-site child care options for four-year-old kindergarten students at the Early Learning Center starting next school year, offered through the Community Recreation Department. 

TurtleTot Wraparound Care will allow children to extend their 4K experience into a full, consistent school day. Students who attend either a morning or afternoon 4K session can participate in wraparound care before or after their 4K session, creating a full day from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. By combining 4K and on-site child care in one location, families can count on a seamless, full-day schedule that supports working hours, reduces transitions, and provides children with a stable, engaging environment throughout the day. 

4K Kidstop Before- and After-School Care for families who need extended care outside regular school hours.

Families interested in participating are encouraged to visit the Early Learning Center website to complete the online interest form by May 27. Space is limited, and priority will be given to families who respond by that date.

The Early Learning Center offers four-year-old kindergarten (4K) taught by highly educated, DPI-licensed teachers. The 4K program features half-day classes, five days a week, in either a morning or afternoon session. Children who are four years old on or before September 1 are eligible to attend.
