Meet Principal DiStefano

Dear Jefferson Elementary Families,

I am super excited to share that I will have the privilege of serving as the principal of both Cleveland and Jefferson Elementary Schools during the 2026–2027 school year. I am truly looking forward to getting to know the Jefferson students, staff, and families and becoming an even greater part of this wonderful school community.

A little about me and my background: Over the past 30 years, I have had the opportunity to serve as a teacher, coordinator, director, and principal. Each of these experiences has strengthened my belief that schools are at their best when students, families, and staff work together toward a common goal—helping every child learn, grow, and feel that they belong.

I am deeply committed to our students and staff and to creating a positive, welcoming, and productive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive. I look forward to listening, learning, and partnering with our families as we continue to build upon the many strengths and traditions that make Jefferson Elementary such a special place.

I am excited about the year ahead and look forward to working with you and your children. Together, we can make 2026–2027 a wonderful school year for our Jefferson Jaguars!
