Construction to Begin at Urban

We are excited to share that work connected to our district referendum project is officially beginning at Urban Middle School. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community in helping make these improvements possible for our students and staff.

Beginning on the afternoon of Friday, May 15, construction teams will install temporary fencing along the southwest side of the building near the auditorium. This work will take place while students are engaged in learning, and our teams have worked carefully to plan the process with safety and minimal disruption in mind.

At this time students may still be dropped off and picked up on the west side of the building. Please note that students accessing that area will use the public sidewalks to safely travel to and from the building.

Throughout the project, we will continue partnering closely with our construction crews and district maintenance teams to ensure that learning environments remain safe, organized, and as distraction free as possible. We know that changes to routines can sometimes bring questions, and we appreciate your flexibility and support as we move through this exciting transition together.
