Urban Virtual Learning Plan

Urban Virtual Learning Plan

The first snow day of the school year will be a day off for students. If additional weather-related closures are necessary, instruction will move to a virtual format.

On virtual learning days, students will use their Chromebooks to join a Google Meet for each class through Google Classroom, following the regular school bell schedule. A grade-level bell schedule can be found here. Classes will begin with Homeroom at 7:40 a.m.

Teachers will take attendance at the start of each class period, just as they do on in-person school days. There will be no classes during the lunch period so students have time to eat lunch.

If needed, students may use their Google credentials to access Google Classroom from a phone or a family computer.

This short video will walk students through how to join their Google Meets. For additional technical support, please email one of the staff members listed below.

Technical Support

Please use email for contact, since staff may be working remotely and unable to receive phone calls made to the school.
