New Name for Charter High School

The Face2Face Charter High School Governing Board voted to change the name of the school to the George D. Warriner High School for Personalized Learning in honor of George Warriner, founder of the school who passed away July 2008.

The George D. Warriner High School for Personalized Learning offers an opportunity for students to gain a Sheboygan Area School District high school diploma through a custom learning plan that fits with students' learning styles, interests, aptitudes and schedules. Each student has a uniquely designed curriculum that takes a fundamentally different approach to learning by focusing on how and when individuals learn best.

Warriner worked diligently over the last few years to start a school with the purpose of reaching students through a curriculum which includes project based learning, internships with local businesses, courses in 21st Century skills and online coursework.

Over the last two years Warriner's vision grew from reaching 35 students last year to 71 students this year. As the school grows more students will be able to experience his vision of "finding what students love and giving them the opportunity to do it."

Warriner High School will host a dedication of the school on January 22 at the school located at 721 N. 6t St.
