Jefferson Students Celebrate Success Day

Jefferson Elementary School students celebrated their annual "Success Day" on February 4, a quarterly celebration in which staff and students celebrate good citizenship, excellent behavior, respectful attitudes and responsibility.

Recognized and celebrated this quarter were students whose attendance rate is above 97 percent; 50 percent of the fourth and fifth graders made the honor roll; three students took home medals in the Geography Bee; 25 percent of the fifth grade class will receive the Presidential Awards; and the students were involved in numerous winter activities promoting school/family involvement.

"This is such a positive way to share the good things our school is doing with the students, staff and parents of Jefferson," said Bill Klein, principal. "I am very proud of our accomplishments."
