for Washington's hat day.
Washington School for Comprehensive Literacy recently held its spirit week. On Friday the students wore "Hats for Haiti."
Students paid a $1 for the privilege of wearing a hat. Each student who paid the dollar was given a sticker to wear on his/her hat for the day. The student council used the hat idea to raise money in support for the people in Haiti. Organizers of the event stated that after all the money has been tallied, it will be donated to Red Cross
