Cooper Students Donate $1083 to Haiti
Cooper Elementary School recently presented the Red Cross with a check for $1,083 to help aide in relief efforts for the victims of the earthquake that struck Haiti in January of this year. Clara Murphy, a representative from the Sheboygan chapter of the Red Cross, joined the students during the weekly school assembly time to accept the check from the students who are in Cooper's Above the Influence group. This was the group of students who organized the fundraiser.
Advisor to the group, Ann Bunke, stated, "The students and staff of Cooper School did an amazing job raising a large amount of money for others in need, and we are all very proud for their generous effort."
