The Sheboygan Area School District is excited to announce that KidStop Before and After School Care will be offered at no-cost to families for the 2021-2022 school year. KidStop is a partnership between the Community Recreation Department, Boys & Girls Club of Sheboygan County, and the Sheboygan County YMCA to offer high-quality, on-site before and after school care.
One of the goals in the Sheboygan Area School District Long Range Plan is to ensure all students have access to high-quality activities before and after school. The KidStop partnership meets this need by providing a safe and affordable place for students before and after school as well as offering enrichment programming and academic support.
In order to ensure our schools have the necessary resources to meet the needs of students in the 2021-22 school year, the Board of Education has allocated over $2 million dollars in COVID-19 relief funds to a number of initiatives including small class sizes, enhanced summer school, and additional curricular materials and workshops. These funds will also be used to offer free KidStop before and after school care to elementary students.
KidStop will offer three program options for students in grades 5K-5th:
Please complete this online registration form for each child you would like to enroll. Registration forms are due by Sunday, May 23, so we can plan adequate staffing at each site. After the May 23 deadline, students may be added to a wait list based on space availability.
