Dear Sheboygan Area School District families,
At last night’s Board of Education meeting, our administrative team discussed preliminary plans to return to in-person learning in a Hybrid model in January. Several dates were discussed, but no decision has been made. We will also offer a virtual learning option for families that would prefer to continue in the virtual model.

To help us plan for January, please take a few minutes to complete our parent survey by Sunday, December 13: Click Here for Parent Survey (Spanish link) (Hmong link)
The intention of this survey is to gather feedback on virtual learning, student mental health, and parent preliminary thoughts about learning model preference for their child(ren).
The data points on our weekly COVID Metrics dashboard are continuing to trend downward and we have not seen a surge in positive cases after the Thanksgiving holiday as was predicted.
The Board of Education will meet again on December 15 to review community data, along with the parent survey results. This information will guide our recommendation for returning to in-person learning in January as well as future plans for the second semester, which begins January 25.
