Sheboygan Area School District Announces $2,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Hires,
Increases Pay Rate for Educational Assistants and Nutrition Services Positions

The Sheboygan Area School District is offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for any new employee working 7 hours or more per day. The sign-on bonus will be paid after an employee works 90 calendar days.

Currently, the District has a variety of openings including Special Education Teachers, Special Education and English Learner (EL) Educational Assistants, and more.

In addition, the starting wage for Educational Assistants has been increased to a minimum of $15 per hour. Educational Assistants work during school hours so there are no nights or weekends, and there is time off during the summer.

The starting wage for Nutrition Services Food Server and Cook positions has also increased to a minimum of $13 per hour.
