Sheboygan Area School District Graduation Ceremonies Set for Saturday, June 5

April 29, 2021

Updated: Thursday, May 27, 2021 to note that masking is optional at this event for anyone in attendance and add link for live stream of events.

The Sheboygan Area School District is proud to announce our historic outdoor graduation ceremonies will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Vollrath Park. Moving the graduation day to Saturday ensures that if rain becomes a concern, we have the following day (Sunday, June 6) to host an outdoor graduation. Moving graduation inside is not preferred given the challenges posed by COVID-19.

Two graduation ceremonies will be held to ensure social distancing of students, staff, and guests:

  • 11:00 a.m. - Graduates from South High School, Central High School, George D. Warriner High School, and Etude High School will ‘walk the bowl’ and receive their diplomas.

  • 2:00 p.m. - Graduates from North High School will ‘walk the bowl’ and receive their diplomas.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremonies will be shifted to Sunday, June 6 at Vollrath Park. Any changes to the ceremony will be posted on the Sheboygan Area School District website homepage.

Guests are welcome to attend. There will not be a limit on the number of guests attending, however social distancing between groups will be requested. Masking is optional anyone in attendance. Mitigation efforts for students will include social distancing, masking, touchless distribution of diplomas, and enhanced cleaning of microphones between speakers.

Both ceremonies will be digitally recorded as well as streamed live on the Sheboygan Area School District YouTube page at

With multiple ceremonies, we ask that guests refrain from setting out tarps or blankets more than one hour ahead of the ceremony you will be attending. Due to City ordinances, no tobacco products, alcohol, or pets will be allowed at Vollrath Bowl.
