Our

As you may recall from the past, our goal was 500 lbs in 6 months, which we went above and beyond, reaching 725 lbs during the previous competition window. While we just missed out on the bench award last year, earning 3rd place in the nation, this year we have a much better chance to earn that coveted composite bench (see image below) because NexTrex has updated the policy to be "more equitable. Under the new structure, any participating school that collects at least 1,000 pounds of recycled plastic film during a 12-month period qualifies to receive a composite bench."
We've got this one in the bag, folks! We are already at 300 lbs carrying over from last June thanks to your involvement, so we only need 700 lbs more by next August to reach our goal.
So everyone, like the Green Bay Packers, who will soon take the field for week 1 of their regular season, let's get off the bench and into the game, the plastic recycling game that is!
Bring in your grocery bags, bubble wrap, plastic film, etc (with a full list of acceptable items in doc below) & let's make it a great year!
