I graduated from Lakeland College in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach first through sixth grade with a minor in Coaching Athletics. I was hired in August of 2000 to teach second grade at Consolidated Parochial Elementary School in Fond du Lac County. I challenged myself and traveled with the same students to teach third grade. I spent the next eleven years teaching in third grade. My last year teaching at C.P.E.S., I taught a third and fourth grade combined class. In 2013, I accepted my fourth grade teaching position at Sheboygan Leadership Academy. I have since then enhanced my knowledge of the school’s pillar for our Spalding Curriculum by successfully completing the Spalding Programs for the Multisensory Instruction of Language Arts Course 1 and Course 2. I am continuing my Spalding knowledge by working towards becoming a Spalding Certified Teacher.
I was born and raised in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. I met my husband, Peter, at Lakeland College. We were married in September of 2001 and bought a house in Sheboygan Falls on the same street where I grew up. We have two beautiful, loving children who continue to amaze us every day. Our daughter, Madison, was born September of 2003 and our son, Brayden, in September of 2007. Our children are the center of our lives. They keep us very busy with all their interests and activities, but we love to watch them grow and develop into responsible children. One of my favorite things to do during my free time is to go running and/or biking. I enjoy training for various races. I have completed numerous half-marathons and duathlons.
